Story Line:

This dance file was created for mother's day. I gathered friends of mine to collaborate with me on this project. I wanted to show my work to my mom who had never seen my work before.

Concept Statement:

I do not remember the first time I listened to the music, Her by Anne Marie, but as soon as I heard the lyrics I knew I needed to make something with it for my mom. The lighting looks are designed according to the lyrics. I chose to have blue to emphasize warmer colors on the body of the dancer. When the lyrics say "I think of an angel", I wanted to create the feeling of pure love for my mom. Single top light was just enough to show facial expression and tell the love.
