Concept Statment: 

This production will have unrealistic visuals but there should be some elements that bring audiences back to real life to reflect lessons from this play.

For lighting, I used high contrasts in color and the value of lighting to establish character relationships. IAlso, I used different types of the edge of lighting to differentiate the emotional status of characters and scenes. I used a cool color palette throughout the play even for the wedding scene. For the scenes that only have two characters, I would highlight the area they are in to create an intimate atmosphere.
